Welcome to Hawthorns Estate

Just eight miles from Gloucester nestles The Hawthorns Estate, centred around The Hawthorns, a 17th century, grade II farm house. Within its 800 acres of mixed farmland are the estate’s working farm, business centre, commercial and residential properties to let, grain store plus a range of self-storage options. The Hawthorns Estate is a true and successful example of farming diversification.

The Hawthorns Estate is a fourth-generation family business.  Norton H. Padfield arrived with his family in 1905, taking over the tenancy of the 358 acre farm.  Today, the estate, trading as R.N. Padfield & Sons Ltd, is headed by Norton’s great grandson, Chris.

Situated just outside the Gloucestershire village of Staunton, The Hawthorns Estate is conveniently located close to the M50 / M5 motorway network, giving access to the Midlands, South Wales and the South West.

Whether you are looking to rent an office or commercial unit, embark on a farming joint venture, store grain or cosy up in one of our residential lettings; you can benefit from the services offered by The Hawthorns Estate.
