The longest serving tenant at The Hawthorns Business Centre is Postsaver, a global company that makes a unique product which prevents rot in wooden posts and poles.

Established by Richard and Jim George in 1994, Postsaver moved to The Hawthorns in 2012.  Today, they operate their offices and a small bustling distribution centre on site, employing 13 people.  Their products are sold worldwide, to retailers, utilities, farmers and growers, and fence post and pole producers, to name just a few, and through third party distributors and online marketplaces.

Postsaver composite barrier sleeves provide protection from decay at the critical ground line section of fence posts, whilst the heavy duty Polesaver, is used to provide protection for structural and commercial applications, such as power and telegraph poles.

“Chris Padfield is a very good landlord – very flexible and accommodating.  For example, when we needed outside storage for some of our products, it wasn’t a problem.”
